Summer Budget Travel Tips from Gadling

It's your wedding day, and you're nervous -- duh. But, no matter how many butterflies are doing the tango in your tummy, you must try to eat something on your wedding day, especially if it's a late ceremony and reception. Grooms, this includes you, too.

Do you know how many horror stories I've heard about brides (whose weddings I helped plan) were too nervous to eat on the Big Day and consequently keeled right over during their nuptials? Okay, so not a lot, but some, and this video is more than enough to convince me to eat (although usually a plate of cheese and crackers is enough to convince me, but that's not really the point).

Remember that your heart will be pounding (with love, adrenaline, nerves, what-have-you), and if your blood sugar is too low, you could be hitting the deck before you say I do.

Also, if you plan to partake of some champagne, you really should have a little something in your belly (you probably won't have a chance to munch on much at the reception). You want to remember your wedding, after all, and I'm sure the only hangover you want the next morning is a love hangover!
