It's probably not something that the couple asked for (or even considered), but who wouldn't be grateful for a little help keeping things neat and tidy? I guess some people may not like the idea of a stranger being in their house, moving their things around, so this is a gift you'll probably want to run by either the couple or someone close to them to see if they'd like it. But I can think of few things I wanted more after my wedding than a clean house -- and someone other than myself to clean it.

You could pay for a housekeeper to come by a few times in the weeks after the wedding, or pay for a year-long service for the couple. This can get expensive, so maybe it's the kind of gift you want to pool together with others to purchase. I know I wish someone had done this for me!
