Massively looks at the best free to play games
My daughter and I spend a girly-bonding hour perusing piles of bridal mags, seeking inspiration for these posts. Suddenly she tosses one toward me with a snort.

"Can you say, 'Photoshop'?" she asks. "Already these women will be freaking out about how they're going to look, and then they have to see so-skinny models like this? And just look at this one! She's MY age!" (My daughter being 14.)

A quick glance through any bridal magazine is indeed the stuff of fantasy -- including many most all? -- of the models. (The model in the picture took me close to an hour of diligent searching. And she's not really plus-size -- she's just not skinny.)
You may dream about your perfect dress, the perfect ring, the perfect color scheme, the perfect setting, but nothing is going to make a zaftig bride look like a sylph. And why should she? Seems to me her Mr. Right must love her in all her curving glory. But try telling that to the makers of wedding dresses! (See what Kristen has to say on that here.)

How do you feel about this? Are the wedding magazines a source of inspiration and fantasy, or are they just plain depressing? Have you found any rubinesque women represented in their fairy-tale pages, or is there no room in the wedding industry for the voluptuous bride?
