There's a huge variety in gowns, and what appeals to one person will not appeal to another. Taste is personal, and if we all had the same taste, there'd only need to be one wedding gown -- and how boring would that be??Still, after you've spent days (weeks? months?) flipping through magazines, surfing sites, pounding the pavement, watching fashion TV, trying to find YOUR perfect dress, there can be a lot of therapy to be had in mockery.
The Wedding Gown Hall of Shame had me crying with laughter at points. Not so much the dresses, because some of them -- they weren't so bad. It was the captions that killed. That picture over there on the right? Its caption was: "I'd be depressed, too, if my gown went through a paper shredder." Maybe you had to be there to really get it, so go! Go take a look! It's a great way to relieve some wedding stress!
UPDATE (Oct. 30): This post has received fairly heavy traffic today. I'm thinking that if even half of the hits to this post went over to the website, their server has probably crashed with the unexpected traffic surge. The best I can offer is what the site told me when I tried to link just now: "Try again later."
