Now that you've selected a potential photographer, it's time to make sure they pass the muster. (Or is it mustard?) Either way, they need to be ready to work with you and your bridal party on preserving those perfect wedding moments.

The top five questions to ask are:

1.) What's your photography style? Will you be following us incognito and snapping candids, or do you prefer the pose down?

2.) How much input can we have on your shot list? If we want that picture taken over by the bridge/gazebo/hippo pond/whatever, can we request it?

3.) How much bang do we get for our buck? In your prices, what is included? A 200 page album? An 9 x 11 framed photo? The negatives? Find out precisely what you're paying for.

4.) Do you travel light? Will we be seeing you and a camera, or you, a camera, two assistants, a lighting kit, and a small shrubbery? Make sure your photographer isn't too intrusive in your event.

5.) And finally, ask yourself if you like this person. Can you picture the most important day of your life with this person in attendance? They will be beside you when you say "I do," when you have that first dance, and when you cut the cake. Be certain that you are comfortable with the photographer on a personal level.

Finding the right photographer is crucial. Otherwise, you may end up waiting until last minute and be forced to use a court artist.
