George has been pretty open about his decision over the years. I think even Nicole Kidman once lost a $10,000 bet with him that he would be married with a kid by a certain date. I admire him for sticking to his guns - we're not all meant to become Mr. and Mrs. with tots in tow.
I said the exact same thing in my 20s. But I matured, met the right guy and decided to "settle down" and have a baby. Never say never, right? But the flip side of that is, when people say they don't want that life, you really should believe them and not hold your breath.
