I'm an unconventional bride! (No surprises there.)

Let's see ... My wedding last spring was small (about 60 people); my gown was dark goldish bronze sorta brocade and brown with medieval sort of lacing. My eldest daughter was my witness; my groom's eldest son was his. There were no other attendants. There was live music, but no cake. Food, but no garter or bouquet-tossing. We married at our local pub, brightly decorated with balloons and streamers, and though we provided wine, not a few of our guests toasted us with Guinness. Yup, that'd be unconventional.

No surprise at all that Ilona was an unconventional bride! :-) It turns out that I was too, which is a LITTLE surprising based on my personality. However, I suspect that second-time brides tend to be a bit less conventional about their weddings anyway, so in that respect I'm not really all that surprised.

I don't know if this HTML code will work or not, but I am a traditional bride. Not really surprising. Although I must say that I'm not wearing white (ivory with champagne accents) and I'm not into the superstition stuff. So I guess I'm slightly less than traditional if the truth be told.
