Gadling's resident pilot explains what life in the cockpit is like

Blinc Kiss Me mascara will not cry off

I have to admit that I'm a big cryer. All sorts of things make me weepy; this morning, on the way home from dropping my kids at school, a story on NPR had me tearing up. Seriously.

Weddings always get me; at my own wedding, I fretted about the mess that the crying would make. In the end, I opted for some super strength waterproof mascara, and I was good to go, but the mascara was a nightmare to get off, and I tossed the tube the next day.

Today's bride (because I am old and was married a long long time ago) has better options, the best of which is Blinc Kiss Me mascara. If you're not someone who normally wears waterproof mascara -- or mascara at all -- this is the stuff for you. It goes on smoothly and evenly, and will stay on through tears and rainstorms and dips in the pool. And the BEST part is how easy it is to take off -- just wash with warm water and your normal facial cleanser. Blinc creates little tubes of mascara around your lashes, which just fall off when you wash your face.

It's a little freaky the first time, seeing those wee black tubes in the sink, but Blinc is easy on your lashes, looks totally natural, and comes off without any extra effort. Blinc is available at Sephora.com for $24.00.
