Remember being small and baking homemade holiday sugar cookies with your family? I always had a hard time waiting for them to cool down so that we could decorate them with frosting and tiny sugar crystals.

Winter weddings are the perfect occasion to bring back the nostalgic feeling you get when you think of holiday cookies. And I have a favor with yummy-goodness written all over it.

Many sites offer cute, holiday-themed cookies, but the ones sold through beau-coup.com are some of my favorites for appearance (if only I could scratch-n-sniff my computer screen!) Each cookie is pretty large at 3" by 4", comes individually wrapped in cellophane with a matching ribbon, and is hand decorated. The holiday inspired designs include mittens, snowflakes, ice skates, and stocking caps.

At $3.50 per cookie with a minimum order, they're not the cheapest favor. Then again, I wouldn't have any complaints with receiving a huge, nicely-decorated holiday cookie if I were a guest. Besides, if you want to save a buck and have fun at the same time, you can always make your own cookies with friends and family and wrap them yourself.
