Exclusive: Rock Band Unplugged Track List

My wedding was, I thought, extremely elegant. And so was my 3-tiered, traditional cake. My younger sister, whose hobby was cake decorating, did it for me, And she did a fabulous job too....even if the second tier did sinks sadly into the bottom layer. (Luckily she was at hand to do a quick repair job.)

So I was quite happy with my cake. But then, it was a while ago and in the intervening years, things have changed unbelievably. The more I browse through weddings magazines, and watch TV wedding shows, the more I am blown away by the zillions of options available to modern brides and I imagine that it must be hugely difficult to choose your cake.

And now, too add to already mind-boggling options available, are the very trendy painted cakes.

There just so many fantabulous concoctions to choose from. How do you make up your mind? Meg suggested having a croquembouche (which the French just love)...and Kristen gave a few more tips for jazzing up your cake.

Well, here's another superb and very much 'in vogue' option.....a painted cake. Yep. It sounds a bit mad but it looks fab! These cakes are real works of art and are almost too pretty eat!

Other wonderful painted cakes can be found at About the Cake, Inc. and also at Ayoma Cakes.

If it were me having to make the decision, I'd be dithering about it until the cows come home.
Good luck in making your choice!
