American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee has announced her engagement to actor Nick Cokas. No word on whether the the wedding will take place somewhere over the rainbow or not.The two met in L.A. back in 2005 on the set of "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" and hit it off. He took her to the American Idol San Francisco audition, and they fell in love.
McPhee has been in the public eye a lot since her days on American Idol. In an interview with People magazine in June, 2006, she admitted to having battled bulimia, but also stated that she had sought treatment after qualifying for the show. She's currently filming a comedy called I Know What Boys Like. I'll tell you one thing, Kat -- we all like you best with a healthy amount meat on your bones!
