Everyone loves receiving presents. That's a given and anyone who says they don't like receiving them is lying ... especially when cake is involved.

And, with the holidays rolling in quicker than we can say bankruptcy, the stress of picking out the perfect holiday wedding cake makes the purchase taste, well, uh, a little bitter. Don't fear! There's a cake that fits into a holiday-themed wedding that's almost as fun to eat as it is to watch perched on top of a table.

Oh, yes. I've never wanted to eat a gift so much before viewing this site, which is filled with gorgeous present-shaped cakes. They're creative, artistic, and will put any guest into the holiday spirit.

Now, of course, designer cakes will usually cost you a pretty penny. However, if you have a local bakery in mind, show them pictures of your design idea and make sure that they show you plenty of examples of their work so you can rest assure that they can handle the job.

If you're really brave or have a knack in the kitchen, you can try to build your own present-shaped cake. It sounds like a daunting task, and I sure as heck would never be able to do it (I burn toast on a regular basis, people), but more power to you. However, mess ups could cost you more money than the money you could have spent to have a professional bakery do it.
