Natalie Imbruglia and husband file for divorce

Natalie Imbruglia and her husband, Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns have decided to end their marriage after four years.

The couple had an unconventional marriage, with Imbruglia based in the UK and Johns spending the majority of his time in Australia, but they insisted the arrangement worked for them -- and for some people, living apart together is the perfect arrangement. Unfortunately, for Imbruglia and Johns, it wasn't.

Imbruglia was recently quoted as saying that she would have no problem taking a break from work if it started to interfere with her marriage, but speculation of a breakup still surrounded the couple. The most notable instance occurred after Johns neglected to thank his wife when accepting an award (Imbruglia was a no-show at the awards ceremony, citing work conflicts).
