Never mind the bridal flip-flops! These, I am convinced, are the perfect footwear for a beach wedding. Barefoot is best on sand: no sand in the shoes, no sliding off soles, and no ridiculous ankle-cracking wobbling about on heels of any sort.

Barefoot sandals. A touch of pretty and feminine colour, a wee bit of sparkle, yet nothing between you and the sand but your very own skin.

They can be very inexpensive, less than $20/pair, or, if you're interested in the creme de la creme of barefoot, you can spend several hundred dollars for silver and Swarovski. Either way, your feet hit the beach with a little wedding-friendly festivity.
