Now THAT's a proposal!
Here's a groom with class. Months in advance of the anniversary of their first date, Graham McGowen started planning the proposal she still talks about. His then-girlfriend collects snow globes. Graham found a woman who made snow-globes to order; he found an artist to make the figurines he'd planned. He went onto eBay and bought a tiny bag of real diamond chips for the glitter. For seven months, he planned, and slowly it all came together. On their anniversary, they went for a picnic in their favorite picnic spot, and he handed her the wrapped globe. When she peeled back the paper, she saw the figures in the globe: woman sitting on a picnic table, man kneeling at her feet. She read the inscription on the plate: "Will you marry me, Kristen?"
