A man in India was recently given a really good reason not to get married (because, apparently, already being married wasn't enough). His first wife showed up at his wedding and beat the heck out of him with slippers.I know, it sounds fairly humorous, but it actually got pretty violent.
Police showed up when the violence began escalating, and didn't get there a moment too soon. According to witnesses, the bride's family was about to lynch the accused and his father, and it took hours for things to calm down. He and his father were both arrested for cheating -- and truth be told, they weren't exactly sneaky. The first wife (who happens to be pregnant) found out about the wedding when she came upon his wedding card.
Clever.
