Wedding gowns are works of art, beautiful, lush, richly crafted -- and expensive! There are various sources for less expensive gowns, from discount retailers through your grandmother. The Internet is another.Over at Indie Bride, they offer a bridal trousseau swap, though there doesn't seem to be any swapping going on really. Mostly it's a place to "unload all of the bridalware taking up your valuable closet space." While most of the gowns have been worn only once (which is kind of what you'd expect, really), quite a number have never been worn. Not even once.
While you might wonder about the story behind that (and sometimes they explain), you can't argue at the price. Check it out -- maybe YOUR gown is there, just waiting for you!
