Retro-themed weddings, in particular the fab 50's and swinging 60's, are becoming quite popular with brides, especially the more offbeat bride, and it's quite easy to understand why. After all, the sixties and seventies were eras of fun, grooving and 'anything goes'.

Some retro brides keep it stylish and sleek, whilst other want a more funky feel to their day. These are the brides who are on the hunt for a dress that reflects the 'Happy Days' feel. You could have a dress custom made, from a vintage pattern (there are loads for sale on eBay) or you could find a designer that specialises in that period.

However, we absolutely love the dresses from Candy Anthony and are sure that there is something in their collection that will appeal to almost all retro brides. Other vintage outfitters that have great gear are Stop Staring Clothing and Whirling Turban, both worth having a look at if you're struggling to find something for yourself and your bridesmaids.
