Once you've finalised all the big things though, you still need to think about the little details. The seemingly unimportant things that are, actually, vital if you want to get the look just right.

At your reception, why not have a few Polaroid cameras doing the rounds. Polaroid guest books buck the current digital trend and are very retro. They're becoming all the rage these days and are loads of fun as photos are developed on the spot, allowing your guests to stick them into a guest book with a message. (Remember to provide the glue and plenty of film.)

Favors could range from personalised rock candy to CD compilations of music from the time, love beads or peace sign jewellery.
