Rhys Ifans played a bizarrely eccentric bloke in rom-com movie Notting Hill and it seems he's a pretty offbeat chap in real life too. The actor , who is madly in love with actress Sienna Miller, has already asked her to marry him at least once. Last December he wrote a poem called Marry This Misfit, which included the line "I bleed for you," but it clearly didn't impress Sienna as she turned him down, laughing her head off. What a slap in the face for poor Rhys!

However, it obviously hasn't put him off as he has proposed again, in a very unique way. His method was quite funky actually. What he did was to stick a series of coded marriage proposals onto the bottom of her beauty products.



According to Hello! magazine, "He stuck a marriage proposal to the bottom of each individually wrapped bottle using a secret system of letters and numbers, because she is working on a film where she has to learn to decipher codes," says a source. "He thinks his plan is ingenious - he spent ages working on it."

It's not exactly ingenious but it is cute and different and what we find marvellous is the amount of thought he put into his proposal. It remains to be seen if Sienna is as impressed as we are and if not, will Rhys find an even nuttier way to propose or will he call it a day and ride off into the sunset.
