Gadling's resident pilot explains what life in the cockpit is like
If you're at that stage of your wedding planning when you start to think about choosing your cake, then have a good think about how your cake can be incorporated into your theme, if you're having one. We know by now that modern wedding cakes go beyond the traditional three or four tiered, white affair with a standard bride and groom topper.

Anything goes these days. Absolutely anything. From wacky and whimsical to luxurious and decadent, fabric designs and sharply contemporary. We've even featured painted cakes. And they are all gorgeous, aren't they!

Well, here's another cake designer who takes wedding cake art to a new level. Amanda Streeter's hand-painted cakes are inspired by real-life art. Some of her cakes are based on the works of Klimt and Chagall and others are inspired by Islamic architecture and even Indian henna painting. Her cakes are stunning and would be a fabulous feature (and the talking point) at any wedding.

Too beautiful to eat, wouldn't you say?
