Being a princess is all about having a train; the longer the better. But the train can be a hassle during the wedding, particularly if you will be moving around at all. A princess knows that you need designated Train Handlers, bridesmaids whose sole job it is to keep your train straight. These lovely women followed Princess Letizia around all day, managing her train for her. You might want to bustle yours for the reception, but it's worth having someone designated to manage it during the ceremony. However, we would advise against asking your friends to wear any sort of period costume; only a real princess can get away with that.
