Licensed to wed? 007 star Daniel Craig is getting married

Oh to be a Bond girl! Wouldn't that be such fun? Well there's one lucky lady who is going to be a Bond girl for the rest of her life. James Bond star, Daniel Craig, has asked his girlfriend, Satsuki Mitchell, to marry him. The hunky 40 year old actor has been single since his 1994 divorce from his first wife but has long said he'd like to give marriage another try. He believes that his first marriage failed because he didn't understand it before. The star once said, "I do believe in marriage. I really do. I believe that getting together with somebody and making a public statement about it is a good thing. I just didn't really understand it before." (We'd love to know what his current understanding of marriage is.)
Since asking Satsuki to be his wife she has been seen sporting a beautiful Cartier ring, which has a large diamond solitaire in a platinum setting. The couple met in 2005 and began dating, but Daniel wrecked the relationship by having an affair with actress Sienna Miller (who is currently the object of Rhys Ifans' attention.) However, Daniel's past antics are ancient history and the newly engaged couple are now extremely close.
Daniel is currently filming the latest Bond movie, Quantum of Solace in Central America, and plans to marry Satsuki once filming is complete, in a small and intimate ceremony. Which is a pity really, as a splashy, extravagant affair would be more fitting for the man who plays James Bond. Plus, we do love a glitzy celebrity wedding!
