Ulrika Jonsson weds 3rd time

Ulrika Jonsson, the somewhat controversial British TV presenter and former weather girl, has married for the third time. The quite-heavily pregnant mother of three, who has the nickname '4x4' because of the number of children she has with different men, tied the knot with American advertising executive, Brian Monet, last weekend. The couple had an ultra low-key wedding at a hotel in West London, with just fourteen guests. And, aside from her children, there was no family present. Ulrika said it was her dream wedding and added, "Nobody is offended and there has been no sense of obligation. It just feels right Brian and I having the wedding we want." Spot on, Ulrika, we agree. A wedding shouldn't be about what other people want and expect. It's the bride and groom's day, after all.
It was also a thoroughly modern wedding, with the pregnant bride kitted out in a simple, cream Grecian-style dress by Matthew Williamson and a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. The groom wore an enormously stylish, cream Dolce & Gabbana suit.
Talking about her wedding, Ulrika said, "I have three children from previous relationships and I am pregnant. You don't get more modern that that!" She added: "There is no hope of me being skinny with a bump. If I look like a beached whale, there's nothing I can do about it." Okay, her bump was hugely evident but she also looked radiant and absolutely stunning.
The couple had their Maldives honeymoon before the wedding took place, because, they said, the baby is due in May. See? That girl always does things differently! What we'd like to know, though, is will this marriage be different from her previous ones? In other words, will it last? The odds, according to The Mirror, are that it won't. Ulrika, however, thinks that this one will go the distance.
The bride's close friend and matron-of-honor joked, "I hope you have finally found the happiness you have been looking for because, quite frankly, I am exhausted." Well, maybe it will be a case of third time lucky. Maybe not.
