I met my husband-to-be at a friend's wedding where he was a groomsman and I was a bridesmaid (forgive the dress; it was the early '90's). Finding your next sweetheart – or spouse -- at a friend's wedding is more common than you might think. After all, love is in the air and everyone looks pretty good all spruced up. Although the scoping seems to be spread pretty evenly across the gender line, it would seem some guys make a goal of catching a date at such events, and there's plenty of advice out there to assist.
