When Eva Longoria wed Tony Parker last summer, she had the Roman numerals VII VII MMVII inked on the inside of her right wrist (you can see the tat in the photo). But recently, Longoria has been out and about with the tattoo covered up, fueling speculation that she and Parker are on the skids.
I don't know anything about the break-up rumors (and you know I'm the first to cut celebrities some slack when it comes to buzz about their marriages) -- my first thought was that maybe she's rethinking such a prominent tattoo. But since it's not her only tat, and not even the only tat on her wrist, it's just possible that there is some other reason for the cover up.
I hate to be pessimistic, but maybe this is a good argument for sticking with having the wedding band engraved -- at least that way if things don't work out, you don't have to face a reminder of the marriage every time you put on your watch.
