Wedding boots for the kickin' bride
We've discussed Western wear, we've introduced you to Fluevogs., we've even shown you bridal wellies. Today's post isn't cowboy boots. It isn't the hip and funky and often colorful Fluevogs, nor even footwear for the rainy-day bride. No, today's post features boots specifically designed for the bridal foot. These white boots are made in silk or satin, and can be dyed for continued use in your real life. These boots come in a variety of heights, from funky little ankle boots to knee-high, bordering-on-dominatrix lace-ups. To each her bridal own ... We have yet to find an over-the-knee pair, but we'd be willing to bet they're out there somewhere!
They can lace, button, zip or tie. Some are embellished with ribbons. Whatever your boot style, you can probably find it in bridal style. Now we're curious: if you're wearing bridal boots, what style dress will you wear with it?

My husband wore cowboy boots with his tuxedo for our wedding, and so I decided to wear boots too, but mine were more Victorian-style, ankle height in white satin with laces. They were a really good choice, since they provided better foot and ankle support than most bridal shoes.

He wore *cowboy boots*? When he's already a foot taller than you?
My husband - not a tall man - wears cowboy boots when he officiates, because they're one of the few bits of masculine footwear with a decent heel, and he figures he could use the extra height, particularly when standing between a tall groom and a bride in 4-inch heels!
With your tall man sporting an extra inch, I'm not surprised you wore boots, too. It'd be a matter of self-defense! And they sound lovely -- very bridal.
