Well, our invitation must've been lost in the mail, because Beyonce and Jay-Z were wed yesterday and we weren't there. Honestly, we were hoping for a bit more hoopla and build up, but, apparently the musically talented lovebirds didn't think so. Hmph.
Anyway, the couple got married in a small ceremony in New York, where they had taken out a marriage license earlier in the week. Right after the vow-swap, Mr. and Mrs. Z held a party on the roof of Jay-Z's Tribeca loft. Beyonce's mom, dad, and sister were in attendance, along with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams (from Destiny's Child), and the couple's pal Gwyneth Paltrow.
Congratulations to the couple, but until we see pictures, we're holding on to our gift. So there.
