Fashion help for the floundering bride
You've never been a particularly fashion-conscious woman. Jeans and a t-shirt have been just fine for most of your life, with occasional forays into jean skirt and dressy tee, and suddenly, here you are looking in the middle of a whirlwind of fashion terms. Whirlwind? How about tsunami? You've struggled through 'bodice' and 'pinch pleats', 'sweetheart' -- as a neckline, not a term of endearment -- and 'cathedral' (as a veil length, not a building), and you've found your gown. And your bridesmaids, bless their hearts, have something nice to wear, too.
So you're done, right? No more fashion. Just got to grab yourself a pair of shoes to go with that gown. And ... oh, good lord. Shoes come with another whole dictionary of terms. Who knew? But not to worry: if you can't tell a Blahnik from a Sputnik, just get yourself over to Weddingbells, where you will find this helpful little glossary of shoe fashion terms, and a whole lot more.
"Shoe fashion". Only your wedding could possibly be important enough to have you caring about "shoe fashion". But care you do, and we know you'll be gorgeous, right down to the toe of those fancy new shoes, when the day arrives!
