My husband and I were married in France and we had a small, but fabulous, wedding reception at the fanciest restaurant in Calvi (Corsica). I always remember our wedding as being so romantic even though it didn't have all of the bells and whistles (and expense) of today's weddings. If you do have a wedding in France or with a French based them, you might like to look into dragées as a favor you can give to your guests - they are very popular in France!
