Back in February, we told readers about Bridesmaid Essentials' America's Best Bridesmaid contest. Bridesmaids were required to submit their stories in entries of exactly 27 words, and after weighing all the responses, the 2008 winner was announced: Rachel Sauvageot of Los Angeles, CA!As her sister's maid of honor, Rachel designed wedding invitations, spearheaded an organizational spreadsheet system, baked over one thousand cookies, a four-tiered cake (from scratch, of course!), put together her sister's centerpieces, and perhaps most importantly, "beamed joyfully." We know that it's easy to be a superstar bridesmaid when you're truly happy for the bride and groom.
