Even Royals could use a lesson in dress etiquette

We know that, when you start shopping for wedding gowns and bridesmaids' dresses, you'll see tons and tons of long, strapless gowns. They're popular, they're elegant, but there is a problem -- if a long, strapless gown doesn't fit properly, you'll inevitably end up yanking at it to keep it in place or holding up the skirt when you walk, and there's nothing elegant about that. Not even when it's done by a princess (looking at you, Zara Phillips). We'll give Zara a bit of a break on holding up the hem -- her brother's weekend wedding was a soggy, rainy affair, and we're sure she was trying to keep her hem from getting wet. Still, did she have to hike it up to her ... well, above her knees?
The other issue we've seen a lot recently, on television as well as on the street, is the fact that women are constantly yanking up their strapless dresses. We understand that you don't want to flash your naughty bits when you dance, wave, and hug, and believe us -- it's appreciated. However, when you're wearing a beautiful gown, be a lady. Get your dress fitted so that it stays in place, or add spaghetti straps. But enough with the pulling and yanking and tugging of dresses. Enough!

First, I think those who want to get a perfect gown should get a certain size for themselves. This is very important. If they wear a wrong size, absolutely they will yank their gown again and again. That will be not elegant. Second, if the wedding was a soggy, rainy affair, those short gown will be GOOD for the ladies. This one I found seems a good one for that situation: http://dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?deal_id=103938&ru=279 , I think it is the same elegant with those long strapless gowns.

You are so right!!! If you have to tug your strapless top up constantly. please don't go strapless. You'll look silly all night long and you'll be so busy with your dress you won't have a good time.
