You may have noticed that we have a wee obsession with elegant and functional cover-ups for bridal gowns. We freely admit that this stems from memories of our own wedding, where a strict No Bare Shoulders rule kept us busy visiting bridal salons in search of a gown that could be appropriately modest during the religious ceremony that was held in a beautiful old church but could also turn into a breezy and fashionable dress for our modern luxe reception.

Which is where this gown by Christos comes in: Is that Alencon lace capelet not the sweetest thing you've ever seen? Delicate but still sexy in it's own modest way. We think we'd probably keep it on all night - that's how pretty it is!
