Finding new love and getting remarried is wonderful, but many brides going through a second or even third wedding may be concerned about etiquette and what's proper. Specifically, the bride-to-be may wonder about the dress.

Does she go out and buy a new dress? Can she tastefully reuse her old wedding dress, a dress she spent forever researching to get the perfect design and fit? The answers are yes and yes.

If you want to avoid rehashing any memories of your past marriage, then you should simply steer clear of reusing your wedding dress. Yes, you may still love it, but will you love going through your wedding album, knowing you walked down the aisle in the same dress twice?

Yet, with the cost of living ever increasing and many brides becoming eco-minded, reusing a dress while avoiding bad memories can be possible. For instance, if you love the fabric of your dress, you can collaborate with a designer or seamstress to rework the dress into something new.

Dropping a hemline, removing sleeves or straps, or adding color sashes are just a few ways to create a new look while reusing your old dress. Think Molly Ringwald's character in Pretty In Pink (granted that dress was pretty horrendous).

What do you think? Is it too tacky to reuse a wedding dress, no matter if it's redesigned?
