2 husband types: Which kind is your honey?

A recent Redbook article breaks husbands down into two categories: the Boyfriend and the Husband. The Boyfriend is what you always imagined you were looking for -- fun, spontaneous, and sexy. The Husband is the guy with whom you've dreamed about starting a family.Each has pros and cons. The Boyfriend, while exciting and probably great in bed, might not be as dependable in real life, leaving you to handle a majority of household chores and kid duties. The Husband will be a fantastic partner and never leave you hanging, but you might lack a bit of passion. And, according to Redbook, that is essentially that.
We (somewhat) disagree.
We think that this makes a good point -- some men are more exciting and some are more dependable, and to a point, those things are mutually exclusive. The guy who makes plans for a trip and expects you to, at the drop of a hat, spend a week in Rome probably isn't going to be the guy who surprises you with a college fund for your kids, or the savings to put a down payment on a house.
But he might -- your dependable hubby might have really exciting qualities, and your exciting hubby might actually be a rock. We're not terribly comfortable leaving only two kinds of husbands on the board, and so, we're asking you to speak up -- vote in our poll to let us know what type your hubby (or future hubby) is, and if you have any insight into why you chose him.
