Why get married in June? Well, the weather's nice -- but maybe there's a little something in the stars, too.June is named for the Roman goddess Juno. In Roman mythology, Juno is known as the queen of the gods, patron goddess of the Roman Empire, and among other things, goddess of relationships.
It is said that couples who marry in Juno's month will have long and happy marriages, watched over by the queen of the gods herself. If you're hoping to be lucky in love, perhaps a June wedding would be perfect.
