Whether you, the bridal couple, need it not, your guests will want to give you a present. So how do you avoid being on the receiving end of a bunch of unwanted items? This is how it works:
- You register with them, then direct your guests to the website.
- Guests can then choose to donate money to a specific item on your gift list.
- There are six categories of gifts for you to choose from, including paying towards a new kitchen, or your honeymoon.
- Guests choose a category on your list and make a payment

There are some charges that you need to be fully aware of these. Basically, it works like this:
- If your guests want to pay by credit card, then there is a 2.75% fee, which you could opt to pay yourself.
- If you don't use the affiliated Bottom Drawer suppliers, then you pay an admin fee of £69.
- If you choose to have all the funds transferred to your bank account to use as you wish, then there's a transfer fee of £10.
