Tommy Lee and Pam Anderson back together: What makes this time different?

Pamela Anderson, along with her children, has moved back in with her ex-husband, Tommy Lee. The couple has broken up and gotten back together more times than we can count -- Tommy himself even told Rolling Stone, "We've only given it a try 800 times -- 801, here we go."So what makes the couple think they can make it this time? What's changed?
This time around, Tommy has made a lifestyle change that he hopes will bring him and the blonde bombshell closer -- he has become a vegetarian. Pam went veg years ago and is highly involved with Peta, so obviously vegetarianism is a big part of her life.
As dysfunctional as the couple might be, we're kind of pulling for them, if for no reason other than the kids -- Tommy said, "It's definitely working. You can tell on the kids' faces -- they're happy when we're together."
