The Daily Beast is reporting today that a royal engagement may be announced sooner than the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in February 2012.
Tina Brown writes that palace sources are saying that June 3 and 4 have been blocked off on their calendars and may be reserved for the engagement announcement of Prince William to longtime love Kate Middleton.
In addition to the news of the couple's long-awaited engagement, Brown also suggests that the couple's wedding will take place in November. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip were married in November 1947 at Westminster Abbey.

My concern is that they've been going together too long from such a young age, they don't have the dating experience. Since their family is rife with martial infidelities, maybe it's better they just play the field instead of settling down and getting married. It seems they tire of each other and they start looking for some hanky panky. When you're such a mega-celeb like the British Royals, there are so many opportunities to fool around, and better they should get it out of their system now then make headline news years later. I'd like to see Princess Diana's kids find the marital bliss she never found. Too young, too many years together at an early age. I do wish them the best of luck.
