When Jenna asked the proud dad how he's going to feel when he walks his daughter down the aisle the President replies, "Proud, grateful, blissful. I'll be thinking about the day she was born. I'll be thinking about the first day of school."
Of his future son-in-law, Marc Mezvinsky, he says, "I feel grateful that they have been such close friends for half of Chelsea's life. I just hope I can keep it all together and do the hand off."
So we know what the proud father-of-the-bride thinks of his daughter and her fiancé, but what is Chelsea thinking?
Bill Clinton told Bob Schieffer at a fiscal summit in Washington, D.C. yesterday that his daughter told him that all he has to do is "walk her down the aisle and pay the bills."
"You know, she told me the other day, she said, 'Dad the only thing you gotta do is walk me down the aisle and you need to look good,'" Clinton said. "So I said 'Well, what's your definition?' And she said: 'Oh, about 15 pounds.'" The former president told the crowd he's halfway there.

I LOVE PRES. CLINTON. I AM SO PROUD OF HIM FOR LOSING A COUPLE OF POUNDS, TO PLEASE HIS DAUGHTER, WHEN HE WALKS HER DOWN THE AISLE.
Replyhe is not a pres anymore, he is former pres and I don't think this marriage will work, wish them luck but at some point the spoiled brat will end her marriage..............
ReplyIt is accepted practice in the US to refer to a former president as The President or Mr. President after they leave office. They get to retain the title and the USSS protection.
Chelsea has never once presented herself as being spoiled. give her a break she is one who stayed out of trouble. got an education. and has done nothing but show how hard she works for the public. so what is the problem>?
Looks to me like the "Spoiled Brat" needs to lose 15, or 20 lbs her self!

Hopefully, their future children will take after "Grandpa" Bill Clinton and "Grandma" Hillary with their wonderful intelligence on everything in this world, plus compassion for those who need it.
