After spending hours getting your hair and makeup done, you don't want damage your 'do or smudge your makeup. Remember to wear a zippered or button-down top while you're getting ready. You don't want to have to pull a T-shirt over your head and possibly ruin your hair and makeup, nor do you want to have to find a scissor and have your shirt cut off of you.
