5. Brooklyn has amazing restaurants to get married at if you're looking for a more intimate space, like iCi in Fort Greene or Bubby's in DUMBO.

6. Have your wedding shot by phenomenal photographers like Karen Wise, Jen Causey, Charlotte Jenks Lewis, Mel Barlow, Karen Mordechai or one of many others in the area.

7. Some caterers will use food harvested locally on Brooklyn rooftops: You can't get more eco-friendly than that.

8. Borough president Marty Markowitz will send you a congratulatory letter once you get hitched!

9. Who knows, you might be able to talk one of our local celebrities such as Paul Giamatti, Maggie Gyllenhaal or Michelle Williams into posing for a photo with you.

10. You can run across the Brooklyn Bridge à la Carrie Bradshaw with a handful of balloons and have your Sex in the City moment with your own Mr. Big!
