I'm excited to announce the first annual Aisledash.com Wedding Blog Awards! The Wedding Blog Awards gives brides, grooms, wedding industry professionals and wedding bloggers an opportunity to nominate and honor their favorite wedding blogs in 12 categories:

Best Blog for Wedding Inspiration
Best Blog for Wedding Planning
Best Bridal Fashion Blog
Best Community Blog
Best DIY Blog
Best Groom Blog
Best International Blog
Best Local Area Blog
Best Magazine or Wedding Website Blog
Best Real Bride Blog
Best Retailer Blog
Best Service Vendor Blog

And the winner in each category will be selected by our panel of distinguished judges: Marcy Blum, Colin Cowie, Eric Hildebrand, Mark Ingram and Liene Stevens. Learn more about our judges here.

You are welcome to nominate three blogs in any of the above categories using the form below. The top three to five blogs in each category will be the finalists and the judges will select the winner in each category in early August. The winners will be announced on or about August 18, 2010.

The three to five blogs to receive the most nominations overall will be nominated for Best Wedding Blog.

The winner in each category will receive a one-of-a-kind Waterford crystal award.

Here's how to nominate a blog:

Complete the form below with your name, e-mail address, blog you are nominating and which category you are entering the blog in.

In order for a wedding blog to be nominated, it must be live for a minimum of six (6) months, posting a minimum of three (3) posts per week and at least 75 percent of the blog content fits the category for which they have been nominated. Descriptions of each category can be found in the official rules.

All nominations must be received by 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 22, 2010.

All You Need is Love Events (allyouneedisloveevents.com) is as polite, professional and efficient as anybody I have ever worked with in my entire life. They have made the planning for our wedding not only a breeze, but very enjoyable as well. Shannon and Vikki are beautiful both inside and out, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!!
