Conservative radio personality Rush Limbaugh wed Kathryn Rogers in an elaborate wedding held at The Breakers. The 400 person guest list included a number of Republican politicians and conservative pundits, including Karl Rove, Fred Thompson, Sean Hannity, Rudy Giuliani, Mary Matalin. During the wedding reception rock icon Elton John, who was paid $1 million, provided some entertainment by performing several songs.

After eight years together, Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart tied the knot at the Governor's Mansion in Santa Fe. Governor Bill Richardson, a friend of the couple presided over the ceremony under the supervision of New Mexico's Chief Justice, Charles W. Daniels, who officially declared the couple legally wed. The wedding guests included, the Governor and his wife, Barbara, the couple's son Liam, 9, and the governor's counsel. The couple got engaged on Valentine's Day 2009.

Mena Suvari and Simone Sestito wed in an 8th century church in Vatican City and held their reception at Castello Odescalchi, the same 15th century castle Tome Cruise and Katie Holmes were married at in 2006. The couple told People, "Rome is the true city of romance, and to be able to wed in the Eternal City is all we could have asked for this occasion." They described their wedding as "very traditional and romantic."

The Oscar winners, yes both of them are Oscar winners, would not comment on whether they had gotten engaged after the bride was seen in a sapphire ring surrounded by diamonds.

The wedding ceremony was officiated by the bride's friend and host of Survivor, Jeff Probst, an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church.

The bride wore a Chantilly lace and silk organza Monique Lhuillier gown for the ceremony and a cocktail dress, also by Monique Lhuillier for the reception. The bride's dog Ace walked down the aisle in a pink tuxedo and the wedding guests enjoyed cupcakes for dessert.

The wedding was planned by Bryan Rafanelli who also planned Chelsea Clinton's July wedding.

Most of these dresses look like recycled 1950s prom dresses. Very few are really attractive, or maybe it's simply the sullen and bored looks of some of the models. If someone like that modeled a dress of mine she certainly wouldn't be hired again!

Chelsea Clinton and what's his name are the wedding of the century ? I don't think so. Princess Diana and what's his name have that honor regardless of how it turned out.

2010's summer of celebrity weddings was a nice departure from 2009's summer of celebrity deaths.
