According to the Enquirer, Matthew wants Camila to design her own engagement ring, though he's been hunting for the diamond himself. They plan to have a beach wedding at sunset, and while they haven't set a date just yet, Matthew apparently hopes to tie the knot by Christmas.
We're all for the marriage (even if it does take Matthew off the market officially), but we're slightly concerned that it was a spur of the moment decision. Holding your baby for the first time certainly brings with it a wealth of emotions, and we hope that Matthew's proposal was something he'd been thinking about for a while and simply decided the time was right. What do you think?

In this installment, we'll chat with Jay's associates Erica Lyn and Joann.Jay's Bridal and Special Occasion might be small in terms of staff and size, but they have a vast selection. They carry a wide range of designers, like Alfred Angelo, Mori Lee, Maggie Sottero, Mon Cheri, Justin Alexander, and their favorite new designer, Sophia Tolli.
"Sophia Tolli was a designer for Maggie Sottero, and she's come out with her new line and we just love it," gushed Joann. "Her designs look a little European, with some really classic, beautiful styles, but some of her dresses have a bit of a funky, edgy appeal, too."

This is Part Three of our series of interviews with Jay's Bridal and Special Occasion, a one-stop bridal salon located in Gainesville, Florida and online at jaysbridal.net. Throughout the series, we'll discuss everything wedding, ranging from bridal gowns to music to tuxedos. In this installment, we'll chat with Jay's associates Erica Lyn and Joann. If you're looking for a truly one-of-a-kind gown, you can still go to a bridal shop like Jay's rather than have one made from scratch. In fact, both Erica Lyn and Joann were excited about the idea of customized dresses. Certain designers, like Casablanca or Jasmine Bridal, allow brides to create a completely unique dress.
"Say you love three dresses by the same designer," said Erica Lyn. "You could take the neckline of one, the corset back of the other, and the train of the third, and have a dress that's one-of-a-kind. Of course, there are fees for doing so, but that bride gets the dress of her dreams." And we would have to say that getting the dress of one's dreams is pretty near priceless.

Throughout the series, we'll discuss everything wedding, ranging from bridal gowns to music to tuxedos.Shopping for wedding gowns online is becoming more and more popular, but in many cases, it's a truly frightening thing to undertake. How can you feel confident that you're ordering the right dress, and the right size? What if you want the assistance you'd receive in a store without having to travel? That click of the button just feels so final.
One of the unique things Jay's offers is its online store. It began in 2005, and since then, Jay's has sold dresses to brides as far away as Australia, Ireland, and China. Getting married in Hawaii? Make sure you have your permits!
Filed under: Destination Ceremonies, Negotiating Speed Bumps

People within the Hawaiian beach wedding industry are appalled, and concerned that the need for permits might take smaller companies and individuals right out of business. Beach weddings have been on the decline for the last year or two, and they fear this could be the nail in the coffin. There is a universally acknowledged need to work toward preserving the islands and the beaches, but the permits can be cost prohibitive because they aren't issued without proof of liability insurance plus the minimum $20 fee.
The government has stated that it will not halt any weddings as they are in progress, but it would still be a smart idea for anyone planning a Hawaiian wedding to double check with their vendors to make sure all bases are covered.

Fortunately, the group is really tight, and apl.de.ap and will.i.am both served as groomsmen for Taboo. The only remaining Pea, Fergie, was there as a guest, accompanied by her fiance, Josh Duhamel.
Now that members of the group are all pursuing solo projects, we wondered whether they were still as close as they were a couple of years ago, but this seems to show that there's no doubt. Here's wishing Taboo and Mrs. Taboo much happiness and many years of fabulous costume changes. Though the rapper does tend to go with some funky, different looks on stage -- see the gallery -- he looked absolutely dapper for the nuptials. Still, we'd LOVE to see what went down on the dance floor at the reception!

While it sounds like Hayden could be in for a fabulous rock, we have to wonder if, at 18, she's really ready to be engaged. It doesn't seem unlikely that Milo is at that point in his life -- he's probably totally ready to settle down and start a family. But, even if his more diminutive half seems mature for her age, 18 just seems awfully young.
What about you? What do you think about engagements and age? Leave your answer in the poll, or let us know in the comments!

Sexy make-up for your big day
While plenty of brides opt for a natural, innocent make-up palette for their wedding day, we think that, for an evening wedding, more dramatic make-up isn't amiss. Think about the red carpet -- many celebrities find a way to wear a smoky eye while still looking fresh. One of the trends that has popped up this year is the colored smoky eye -- instead of only using blacks and grays, incorporate some other colors. You can go as bright as teals and purples (perhaps to tie in with your wedding colors), or go glam with a metallic bronze.
Keep one thing in mind, though -- if you're playing up your eyes, you really need to go easy on the rest of the make-up. Go with a sheer, somewhat neutral lip, go light on the blush, and you'll be ready to walk down the aisle in style!
