Meg Massie paid her way through college working as a store manager for a family jeweler in Virginia. She spent most of her time in this shop either learning about the jewelry biz or talking to couples about their relationships, engagements, and weddings. From traditional to totally off the wall, she's heard all kinds of wedding stories.
And, she's been there herself, too. She's been a flower girl, reader, bridesmaid, shower attendee, shower planner, bachelorette, and bride. She and her husband split amicably after a few years -- the wedding was beautiful; the marriage less so -- and now finds herself in a place she expects is quite familiar to most readers: very much in love and planning to be married for the second (and hopefully final) time.
