Mena Suvari is gearing up to take her second walk down the aisle with a much older man. The American Pie and American Beauty actress' rep has confirmed that the 29-year-old is engaged to her 46-year-old music producer boyfriend, Simone Sestito.

Sestito proposed during a romantic Jamaican vacation. They met last September at the Toronto International Film Festival, and though the relationship seems to be moving along quickly, a source claims that, when it comes to planning the wedding, "They're in no rush."

Suvari was previously married at the age of 21 to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann, who was 18 years older than the petite beauty. She filed for divorce just over three years ago.

Penelope Cruz is one of our favorite fashionistas. Why? Well, she's not afraid to take chances with fashion, but she always uses common sense and finds things that flatter her (we know, as if it's difficult to flatter that body). Still, her style is something many brides could learn from -- it's okay to go for fun cuts and fabrics, as long as they work for you.

This white gown, which she wore promoting Vicky Cristina Barcelona at the Cannes Film Festival, is a perfect example. It has classic elements as well as interesting, unexpected detail, and we think the overall look would be perfect for a bride. Click through the gallery to see more of the dress and to learn how you can make this look work for you!

The fashion world seems to be of two minds about the flowing white dress Charlize wore to the Hancock premiere in Hollywood. Some think it's the least flattering bedsheet ever, while others think it's ethereal and lovely. We tend to be of the latter opinion.

The statuesque blond has rocked every look from dark, bondage-inspired pieces to haute couture gowns while promoting her latest flick, but we think this look in particular could be perfect for the right bride. Check out the gallery to see how to make it work for you!

When Loni Anderson was just 17 years old and working as a model (and a brunette, no less), she met Bob Flick, the bass player for folk band Brothers Four, when she was sent by the local paper for a fan photo op. The two instantly fell for one another, and they dated for six months, but then went their separate ways.

Over the last 45 years, the blond bombshell has taken three trips down the aisle (and three trips to divorce court), but when she and Bob reconnected five years ago, she got the same butterflies she had when they were young and first in love. Loni was in Bob's hometown for a charity event and decided to look him up.

They married on May 17, which was 45 years from the day they first met. Their wedding cake had their first posed picture together on it, and the couple looked ecstatic. Considering it took so long for them to get to this point, we wish them enormous amounts of happiness and joy.

Uma Thurman's rep has confirmed that she is engaged to her Swiss boyfriend of over a year Arpad "Arki" Busson. She was spotted with a humongous diamond at Sir Elton John's 10th White Tie and Tiara benefit earlier this week. Sources are saying the diamond is so large "she can't fit it through the sleeve of her coat."

Listen Uma, we all have problems. You have a ring you can't fit through your coat sleeve, we have rings worth less than your coat sleeve -- it's the same basic thing.

Recently, Uma's ex-husband, Ethan Hawke, took out a marriage license with his pregnant girlfriend, so the timing is interesting. Uma was reportedly "shocked" when Arki presented her with the ring, but wedding plans are now in the works. Now, if the dress has to compete with the ring, Uma might have some shopping to do!

While many of us grew up loving the American Girl dolls and stories, we probably wouldn't normally look to that series for modern fashion advice. However, Abigail Breslin, who plays Kit in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, has been hitting the red carpet for the film's premieres with style.

In New York, Abigail wore a fun but formal silver ensemble that we think would be a great look for a junior bridesmaid or an older flower girl. Find out how to snag the style for your wedding in the gallery!

Justin Timberlake is doing something with his current lady, Jessica Biel, that he's never done with any other girlfriend -- he's having her move in with him.

The notoriously private pair is shacking up in Justin's six-bedroom pad in Hollywood Hills. However, Jessica isn't putting all her eggs in one basket, so to speak -- she's not selling her Brentwood home, opting instead to give it to her parents and brother.

There's been quite a bit of speculation lately about just how serious this paparazzi-averse duo is getting, with some claiming that he's scouting out private islands on which they could hold a wedding ceremony. We could definitely see them pulling an elaborately sneaky engagement and wedding, but for our own selfish purposes, we hope they opt to share a couple of pictures!

Michelle Williams has made a point to stay out of the spotlight since the untimely death of her ex, Heath Ledger. However, after making a last minute decision to come to Cannes for the premiere of her new film, Wendy and Lucy, she made her first red carpet appearance, and she did not disappoint.

The beautiful lace Chanel gown perfectly suited Michelle -- here's why.

  • Classy couture -- She's still in a grieving period, so wearing something wild and flamboyant wouldn't have looked right. The gown is elegant and classy, and though it drew plenty of attention, it was because it was beautiful -- not because folks were speculating on how everything stayed in place.

  • Lace and face -- We think Michelle has such a beautiful, feminine face -- a face almost made to wear lace and ruffles (and adorable short hair -- don't grow it out too long, Michelle!). We also love that she went with a bright lip -- everything else is so neutral that the dark lipstick really amps up the entire look.

  • Perfectly accessorized -- It would be hard for us to put into words how much we adore her shoes. They have feathers on them, but not so many that she looks like she's wearing birds for shoes. They really accentuate the retro vibe of the dress. The simple clutch was a good choice, too -- she didn't bring anything too shiny or heavily patterned that would take away from the dress, but it still has its own interest.

Are you as in love with this look as we are? Here's how you can have it for your wedding day:

Charlotte York might have had a bit of a one-track mind when it came to guys (find the right one and marry him!!!), but the actress who plays her, Kristin Davis has a very different opinion about men and marriage.

She's very happy being single, and says, "I grew up in the South so all everyone talked about was marriage. But all I wanted was to move to New York and do theater. And in my thirties, I was busy doing the show so I just didn't have time."

However, there's a little spark of Charlotte in there, somewhere. Kristin might not be fixated on marriage, or sitting around waiting for her real-life Harry to come along, but she says she's "open" to the idea of marriage.

We thought Beyonce and Mariah Carey were secretive about their nuptials, but they don't even hold a candle to newlyweds Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, who made their relationship legal on Monday. Her publicist confirmed the marriage rumor yesterday. However, not only were they secretive leading up to it, but after the fact as well. Jessica's brother is rumored to have found out about it when he was contacted by a gossip publication.

The couple swapped vows at the Beverly Hills courthouse. Cash wore a white shirt and brown pants, and Jessica donned a long, blue dress and had her hair pulled back. They said their "I dos" about 40 minutes after applying for their marriage license. Their only witness was the one provided by the court.

Jessica and Cash broke up for a short time last year, then got back together, and in December they announced their engagement and Jessica's pregnancy, not necessarily in that order. Their bundle of joy should be coming along in a month or so.
They might not be household names in your home, but Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor are new but major Bollywood stars, and they have announced their engagement. Or maybe they haven't.

Most sites are saying the engagement rumors are confirmed -- just one or two are saying it's a lie -- and it's actually not terribly recent news. Deepika stated that Ranbir actually proposed to her after their debut releases last November, and that she "happily said yes." She also said they had the blessings of their parents, so her dreams of becoming "Mrs. Kapoor and the leading lady of Bollywood" in the next five years might just come true.

Speaking of dreams come true, the couple's relationship sounds like just that. It was love at first sight, but they tried not to put too much pressure on their relationship so that the could give their love "time to grow." And, we feel confident that, should this wedding take place, it will be a spectacular event, so rest assured we'll keep you up to date!

Emmy Rossum is throwing us some curve balls. She started out so sweet, just radiating innocence in soft colors, like pink. She was just so pretty. And now, she shows up at the Costume Institute Gala at the MET in this amazing black and white gown, and we can hardly wrap our brains around it. She's still pretty, but she's so much more than that -- she's truly stunning. Here's what we loved about this look:

  • Craving structure -- This is not a free, flowing gown. It's designed to fit absolutely perfectly, and it does. The seaming paired with the detailed fabric creates a rich, sophisticated look.

  • Body of work -- Emmy is a thin girl, and this dress really accentuates what curves she has. The mermaid fit isn't for everyone, but it most definitely works for her.

  • Finished off -- She could have gone with a sleek, structured hairstyle to go along with her dress, but we love that she opted for loose waves. She's young, and a more defined 'do might have made the entire look seem a little beyond her years. With her hair down and her big eyes played up, she looks young, sophisticated, and totally sexy.

What bride wouldn't want to get this look for her wedding day? Here's what you need to do:

Cynthia Nixon never thought much about getting married, saying, "I always avoided marriage in the past and was always very wary of it. I felt like it was potentially a trap." However, it seems she's seeing marriage in a different light these days.

Nixon has a fairly interesting past regarding her relationships. She was involved with her male ex-partner, Danny Mozes, from 1988 until 2003. A year later, it was reported that she had been involved with education activist Christine Marinoni, for close to a year.

Part of what Nixon finds somewhat appealing about marriage now, other than the fact that she now has a partner who is interested in it, is that it would be kind of an act of rebellion. She currently resides in New York with Marinoni and her two children from her relationship with Mozes, and says that if gay marriage becomes legal, they'd probably do it.

Rumor has it that Kate Hudson and her Butterscotch Stallion are getting ready to settle down. Supposedly, Owen Wilson picked out the biggest ring he could find for his lady, who has been instrumental in helping him get back into a good place after some dark days this past year.

Both stars' reps claim the rumors are untrue, and that Kate is only sporting the giant rock because she's shooting a new film, Bridal Wars. However, as StyleDash points out, this would be a great opportunity for the towheaded twosome to have a secret engagement with a perfect excuse ...

Either way, we really think they're cute together, and they look happy together, so even if they're not engaged (and we kinda suspect they aren't -- one step at a time, folks), we hope they are enjoying a wonderful courtship.

Liv Tyler fueled speculation of a split this weekend when she arrived at the MET Costume Gala alone and was photographed without her wedding ring. She had been seen house-hunting a few weeks ago, which started rumors that she was moving out.

The rumors have now been confirmed -- Liv, 30, and her rocker hubby, 36-year-old Royston Langdon, have called it quits. According to her rep, the couple remain friends and devoted parents to their three-year-old son, Milo. They were married in 2003, in the Caribbean.

No official reason has been given for the split, but there are rumors that Liv told her friends that she and Royston married too young.
