Move over the shoe-a-holics, hello the clutch-a-holic! We've recently found a fantastic Etsy designer who makes the most gorgeous little clutch bags that are a must-have for any girl, never mind just those about to tie the knot. But let's be honest - a wedding is a fabulous reason to spoil yourself with a gorgeous and stylish bag, whether you're the bride, a bridesmaid or just a wedding guest looking for that perfect finishing touch. Or why not give these to your bridesmaids as thank you gifts?

Red Ruby Rose makes her stunning bags by hand, using beautiful fabrics and lining each bag with Dupion silk in a complementary colour. Priced from $58 to $80, depending on the design, Red Ruby Rose ships worldwide so there's no excuse not to treat yourself!

Have a quick browse through our gallery for a peek at some of these divine little bags and don't forget to visit her site for even more bag-candy.

Are you a fan of elves and fairy tales and epic fantasy adventures? If you're thinking of having a fantasy wedding then we found some great jewelry just for you.

While perusing Etsy, as we are wont to do, we saw some exquisite handmade jewelry. Okay, when haven't we found gorgeous things on Etsy? But we immediately fell in love with the items in Thyme2dream's shop. It's easy to see that she's a big fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Her interpretations of elven and fairy jewelry are simply beautiful.

We grabbed some examples for you, including some tiaras and circlets, ear cuffs, and hair combs. You must see the detail to understand how gorgeous her work is. And all of her items are extremely affordable. Even if you're on a tight budget you can find something to suit your needs. Go on, check it out!

Items mentioned in this post can be purchased at Thyme2dream.etsy.com.
We love finding small, handmade items that have an old-world feel. And if you love vintage as much as we do, then we think you'll enjoy these charms and pendants from Alphaneenee at Etsy.

Denise, the owner, hand makes each charm using lead-free solder. And while she has many items ready made for you to choose from, she can also do custom items.

You can get initial charms for all of your bridesmaids. And they are so, well, charming that your bridal party will adore them. With an affordable price, you won't break the bank either.

Stay tuned for an interview with Denise as we learn more about her work and how she makes these gorgeous charms and necklaces.

We all know that Etsy is a great place to shop for wedding accessories, and we've got another seller to add to your radar. Rivkasmom on Etsy specializes in steampunk designs for her jewelry and accessories, including some really stunning cufflinks. These unique designs are made of vintage materials like old buttons and watch gears -- unlikely pieces that come together in beautiful compositions.

Because the designer uses only real vintage materials, all items are one-of-a-kind. Cufflinks currently listed on her site range from $35-$75 and she ships internationally. If you like what you see but want something a little different, be sure to ask about custom pieces. This seller does take custom orders for bridal parties, and her pieces would make great gifts for your groomsmen and bridesmaids.

Flip through the gallery below for some examples of these steampunk designs, and visit Rivkasmom's Etsy store to place an order or inquire about custom designs.

We've just discovered a new obsession -- Mikiye Creations on Etsy. We love floral hair accessories (especially after taking out the veil before the reception), but using real flowers can be tricky. They can wilt, and it can be tough to pin them in just right because of the stem.

That's why it's so fantastic to find all of these fabulous flowers all in one place -- they're all designed to be worn in your hair, so it'll be a cinch for your hairstylist (or maid-of-honor) to get them in there just right. Plus, just look at them! With the crystal, pearl, and feather embellishments, they're just begging the fashionista bride to wear them.

Check out the gallery for a sample of the different gorgeous hair accessories available. Which one would work best with your dress?

We've talked about tiaras and updo's, hairpins and bridal combs, but for the casual bride who mostly just wants to keep her dratted hair out of her face, it could just be that a simple hairband is the easiest way to go. Hair bands have moved past the schoolroom, and can be as dressy or as simple as you want.

You can go classically simple with a delicate wire, either plain or strung with pearls. You can go prep-pretty with satin band and flowers. You can go glitzy with crystal, or frou-frou with feathers. Whatever style you're after at your informal wedding, a hair band can match it.

We love, love, love these dresses! They're unique, they're gorgeous, and they have attitude!

The spaghetti-strap dresses by etsy vendor ktjean are custom made to your specifications. But they all share these common traits:
  • Lace overlay on the bodice
  • Alternating, silk, lace and chiffon layers
  • This is key: The layers are left raw and unfinished for a truly handmade look
You can go as luxe or casual as you like, as the vendor will make your dress with whatever materials you choose.

Today's dress isn't technically a dress - but it is lovely! Etsy vendor abstractpretty tempts us with her Romantic (yes, with a capital "R") pouf skirt. Isn't it dreamy?

What we love is that you can pair it up with different tops for different looks. She has a boatneck Audrey top for a gamine look, a sweetheart top (above) fit for a princess, and our favorite - a lace-up corset for a chic rocker look.

If you'd like to present your bridesmaids with a handmade (but original!) gift -- one that is fun and will definitely be put to good use -- then try making a cork board out of real corks for the nearest and dearest in your life. It requires you to either knock back as many bottles of wine as you can stand or to browse Etsy -- a fantastic all-things-handmade Web site.

It's easy enough to put one of these boards together on your own: just uncork your favorite bottle of Chardonnay or Merlot and then keep uncorking until you have enough corks to fill a perfect-sized frame. Then apply a little hot glue.

But if all that wine is too much to take on yourself, you can either invite over a backup team or choose your favorite style from a variety of Etsy stores. Regardless if you make it or purchase it this really fantastic thank-you gift can be adorned with any of your favorite pictures of you and your closest gal pals.

Your bridesmaids can hang it on their bedroom or office walls, and they will certainly appreciate receiving something that was made with a little extra effort.
This lovely band isn't strictly intended as a wedding ring -- but why not? For the couple who enjoys the great outdoors, or who has a taste for individuality, who likes being creatively "different", these rings are perfect!

Hand-crafted of sterling silver, each "pebble" in the band is a drop of silver, individually hammered and soldered in place by the artist, Lana Doolaege. At $135, it's a great price for a hand-crafted luxury item. A ring you could treasure for the rest of your life, not just for its sentimental value and symbolism, but for its one-of-a-kind artistry.
As we've said before, our love for Etsy is well documented. And during exquisitely handmade week, it's the perfect time to tell you about the Etsy Storque Handmade Wedding Series.

In April, Etsy ran a month-long series about buying handmade items for your wedding. They had no shortage of great ideas and items to choose from.

For instance, did you know about Alchemy? From Etsy: "Buyers can post requests for custom handmade items, and then sellers bid on the opportunity to make the goods." How about that for amazing handmade things for your wedding? You'll be sure to have items that no one else does.

There's so much great stuff over there. You really should take a look. You might find you want a customized poetry bangle. Or maybe you need help choosing a wedding album and guest book. We'll be going back for more goodies to share with you. But don't forget you can find a lot of incredible items by just searching "wedding" at Etsy.

You're working on a color-coordinated wedding. You want to find the perfect colors, that just-right shade of red. Or a hint of blush. How do you incorporate your favorite hues in your search, especially if you want unique, handmade items?

Use the Etsy color search. This is a new feature that will totally capture your imagination. Choose a color. Filter the results by tags, such as "wedding" (of course). You could get jewelry, clothing, invitations or any item with your tag. And from there you can look around and see if the items will fit your color theme.

Color coordinating your wedding has never been easier.

Go take a look at what you can do. But don't blame us if you spend hours looking through all of the great search results. The sheer number of wonderful items will keep you "ooooh-ing" and "aaaaahhh-ing" and grabbing your credit card. Enjoy.

We just love Etsy. The online mega-craft fair is a great place to look for all kinds of wedding supplies and accessories like invitations, cake toppers, decorations, and so much more.

If you're having trouble finding exactly what you want on Etsy, have no fear! The site's Alchemy feature is there for you. You simply post on the request board exactly what you're looking for, even the price you want, and vendors can make bids for your business. This way, you don't have to settle for something similar to what you want -- you get it exactly the way you've envisioned it all along.

If you do come across an Etsy store that you just love, it's also a good idea to contact the owner and ask if he or she does custom work. Maybe you feel like you're being too picky and specific, but you never know what these artists can do for you if you never ask!
We love finding new (to us) designers over at Etsy. Yes, Etsy again. We can't say enough good things about them. Where else can you find such lovely handmade items?

Today our find is Mew Paper Arts by Alissa Sampogna. Alissa designs, prints and assembles all of her invitations herself (although we hear that her cat sometimes tries to help a little).

She has some terrific, unique designs. If you're looking for something new, or you like handmade things, or want to buy from someone who tries to make her products environmentally conscious, then you should definitely look at Mew Paper Arts.

Our favorites include the poppies, sapphire and platinum, and lavender.

Congratulations to Alissa, as she got married yesterday! She expects to resume creating invitations around April 22nd.

So take a look at her invitations and tell us - which is your favorite?

Evapaul is an Etsy seller who has a wonderful range of wedding invitations and save the date cards. We love the calendar save the date, pictured on the right. It's a great way to let people know about your upcoming wedding. The designs are fresh, vibrant and contemporary. Perfect for the bride who wants to make a bold statement.

Some of the invitations are beautifully illustrated, some are simple, almost stark. But all of them make an impact. You can customise the cards by choosing the colours, font and information you want included. Prices are very reasonable, from $75.00, and best of all, they will send you the design in digital format so that you can have it printed at your local print shop to save you time and money.
