Shortly after taking out a marriage license with his very pregnant fiancee, Ethan Hawke has, once again, gone off the market. His rep has confirmed that the actor married Ryan Shawhughes in a private ceremony last month.

The wedding took place in New York, and was very intimate, but no other details have been given out. A source close to the couple has said, however, that they're likely to have a larger celebration, including all their friends and family, after the baby is born (Ryan is due with the couple's first child, a daughter, later this summer).

The wedding news comes not long after the announcement that Ethan's ex-wife and mother of his two children, Uma Thurman, is engaged to Swiss financier Arpad Busson (and sporting a rock that's too big to "fit through the sleeve of her coat").

Jason Lee, star of My Name is Earl, has filed for a marriage license with his girlfriend, Ceren Alkac. Onlookers at the Norwalk, California courthouse said the couple looked happy and that Jason took time to chat with a few of his fans.

Jason recently revealed that they are expecting a child this fall, which will be the second baby the Scientologist actor has fathered. He has a son with ex-fiancee Beth Riesgraf named Pilot Inspektor. He insists Pilot Inspektor doesn't hate him for giving him such a weird name, and that the boy attends "a little hippy school where all the children have interesting names. He has a friend named Zoot." We just hope he doesn't try to find something even more offbeat for his newest child.

At any rate, we wish the best to the quirky couple, and we suggest that Jason find some clothes for his wedding that don't actually belong to Earl. Just a suggestion.

At a time when most girls her age are contemplating summer jobs and college, Jamie Lynn Spears is preoccupied with the impending birth of her first child and a marriage to a man with whom she can't seem to get along.

Rumors are circulating (courtesy of Star magazine, so it's uncertain how reliable they are) that 17-year-old Jamie Lynn has called off her wedding to 19-year-old Casey Aldridge, the father of her unborn child. According to their sources, the couple has been arguing about everything, "from what to name the baby to what to eat for dinner. And now she's called off their wedding plans."

Over a month ago, Jason Biggs (the actor who did the unthinkable to an apple baked good in American Pie) married his girlfriend, Jenny Mollen, in a super-secret ceremony. Super-secret, meaning that not even the couple's families were invited to the City Hall nuptials.

The couple is reportedly planning on holding a second vow-swap later this year, this time in Napa Valley, surrounded by friends and family. Biggs' American Pie co-star, Alyson Hannigan says she's hoping to make it to the event. She seems happy to be invited, seeing as how she found out about his newlywed status via text message.

Jason and Jenny are expecting their first child this summer.

You might recall Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman's divorce a few years ago. After several years of low-key married life, Ethan reportedly cheated on Uma, and they split.

Both of them seem to have moved on, and Ethan actually just applied for a marriage license with his "very pregnant" girlfriend, Ryan Shawhughes, who was the former nanny of his two children with Uma. We hope that the Ethan and Uma remain on civil terms -- he was spied dropping by to see her on the set of her latest film, and while they seemed to be perfectly chummy, witnesses say that Ethan slammed the door to Uma's trailer as he left.

Either way, we can expect to see Ethan and Ryan tying the knot within the next month --don't worry, we'll keep you up to date!

Stop the presses! Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is pregnant! Oh, wait, you already knew that? So did we. Sort of.

Since their short engagement and e-vite only wedding, rumors have been running rampant about whether Ashlee was indeed expecting. She certainly hasn't looked pregnant, but then again, everyone shows differently. The fact that the couple refused to hold a press conference to deny the rumors, paired with Ashlee's cryptic answers when asked if she was with child, all added up to near certainty that there would soon be a tiny, sweet, flat iron and eyeliner addicted addition to the Simpson-Wentz household.

At any rate, the couple has confirmed on Pete's blog that they are expecting their first child, but had wanted to wait until they were out of the first trimester to spread the joyous news. Now that they've cleared up that rumor, what will we have to talk about?

Jenna Jameson wants to be like Angelina Jolie. No, not because she wants to step up her humanitarian efforts. Also not because she's planning to hold out for quality acting roles. She wants to be like Ang by having babies without getting married.

The former porn star has two failed marriages under her belt, she's in no rush to get hitched to her boyfriend of two years, Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavy weight former champion Tito Ortiz. She says marriage is just a piece of paper, but she does want to have his children.

Jenna goes on to say they've been trying already, so she's hoping to be pregnant in the next couple of months. If only they can figure out how they're made ...

According to Hollyscoop, Pete and Ashlee have already sent out their invitations and plan to be wed on May 16. What? We haven't gotten ours yet!

Maybe it's because they want to get married before Ashlee starts to look pregnant (because, according to the same source that informed Hollyscoop about the invites, Ashlee absolutely is expecting), or because she wants to beat her sister down the aisle. Or, perhaps they're hoping to continue with some publicity as Ashlee's newest album fails to make the level of sales her previous albums did.

Of course, it could just be that they're so much in love that they can't wait another month to be husband and wife. But, that's a lot less interesting.

According to OK! Magazine, Jamie Lynn Spears has no plans to look for a baby-belly-hiding wedding gown and is not intending to have a shotgun wedding with the father of her unborn child, Casey Aldridge.

Reportedly, Jamie Lynn intends to marry at Britney's Kentwood, Louisiana estate (you know, the estate Britney named Serenity -- does anyone else find that ironic and kind of sad?), and will have a small ceremony after the birth of her little one.

Jamie Lynn Spears sure seems anxious to grow up. She's having a baby, and now People.com reports that Britney's little sis is engaged.

The 16-year-old star of Zoe 101 supposedly received an engagement ring from the father of her unborn child, Casey Aldridge, and has been excitedly showing it off to family and friends. Well, of course she has! She's a kid who got a shiny new ring and a symbol of commitment from her baby's father!

It's questionable that Aldridge had opportunity to ask Jamie Lynn's father's blessing first, as Jamie Spears has been busy taking care of Britney's estate. This family sure is busy -- there's no word on a wedding date, but the baby is due this summer, and who knows when (or if) Britney's life will be under control. Jamie Lynn has kept a low profile since her pregnancy was announced -- one can only hope she continues to do so.

So, if I thought I would look like this pregnant, I'd start popping out kids now. Jessica Alba just makes me ill.

Alright, I'm over my little jealous fit, and I have to say that Jessica Alba is truly a gorgeous pregnant woman and she's really well-dressed at the Paris premiere of The Eye. And, what's fantastic is that she is a great example of how fabulous a (very) pregnant bride can look with the right gown. She's certainly not letting that pregnancy cleavage go to waste (and, is that a given for all pregnant women? Because if I'm guaranteed boobs like that, I might give having kids a little more consideration). Here's how you can achieve a pregnancy and bridal glow like Jessica:

Britney's done it again. The girl just cannot stay out of the news. Ever. This time, it's because she has refused the honour of being her sister's bridesmaid (and yes, it IS an honour) and in addition has said she's not even going to attend the wedding.

Apparently, what she really said was that "hell would freeze over" before she would attend the wedding. Why? Because she's still angry that she found out about Jamie Lynn's pregnancy through a magazine article. Well, that's what a friend has said, but who can tell if all that is true or just hearsay.



We hope it is just a silly story because how very rude and how absolutely childish to throw a mega-tantrum over something like that. It's mean too, because a wedding is such a special day and one that any bride wants to remember with joy, and not with cruel family feuds about, well, nothing really. Maybe this is something that Coleen McLoughlin should be thinking about too!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you read that correctly. According to PageSix and HollyScoop, Fergie and fiance Josh Duhamel are expecting, and they plan to move up the wedding date so they can be married before the baby bump gets too obvious.

That would explain the fit of her dress at the Grammys on Sunday -- the normally Fergalicious singer had a definite bulge in the tummy area, but at the time I wrote it off to the fact that she probably ate a cheeseburger or something before hitting the red carpet.

Don't expect to hear a confirmation on either of these two rumors anytime soon. The Dutchess and her leading man are notoriously private about their personal lives, rarely even posing together for pictures. I wish them the best on the wedding planning and on any babies we might be seeing in the near future.
