Colin Farrell has been keeping a pretty low-key profile lately, but has he kept a major event under wraps as well?

The smoke-ensconced 32-year-old actor has been seen on several occasions wearing what looks like a wedding ring on his all-important finger, sparking rumors that he has secretly married his dewy sweetheart, 22-year-old Muireann McDonnell. In fact, he was recently spotted at an airport, smoking (of course) and talking on the phone. When he saw the photographers, he awkwardly hid his left hand, adding some credence to the rumors.

It doesn't look like he's currently working as a married character in any films, so it seems rather possible that the ring is the real thing.

While it has been widely rumored that Harrison Ford popped the question to his girlfriend, Calista Flockhart, on April Fool's Day (either 2007 or 2008, depending on the source), the couple's rep is denying the engagement.

The Indiana Jones star, 65, first met the erstwhile Ally McBeal in 2002 and have been dating happily ever since. However, Harrison has two divorces under his belt, one of which cost him $100 million, so it's understandable that he might be a little hesitant to take a third trip down the aisle.

We're going to go ahead and hope that he's just putting the proposal on hold so he can film one more Indiana Jones movie before getting hitched. Wishful thinking, perhaps, but we're hoping all the same.

Stop the presses! Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is pregnant! Oh, wait, you already knew that? So did we. Sort of.

Since their short engagement and e-vite only wedding, rumors have been running rampant about whether Ashlee was indeed expecting. She certainly hasn't looked pregnant, but then again, everyone shows differently. The fact that the couple refused to hold a press conference to deny the rumors, paired with Ashlee's cryptic answers when asked if she was with child, all added up to near certainty that there would soon be a tiny, sweet, flat iron and eyeliner addicted addition to the Simpson-Wentz household.

At any rate, the couple has confirmed on Pete's blog that they are expecting their first child, but had wanted to wait until they were out of the first trimester to spread the joyous news. Now that they've cleared up that rumor, what will we have to talk about?

British singer Leona Lewis has said before that her boyfriend, Lou Al-Chamaa, is "the one" and that she hopes to marry him in the future, but she has also stated that she's still too young to be concerned with marriage and kids just yet. However, she was spotted with a suspicious sparkler on her ring finger when she was out on the town the other night, fueling the engagement rumors that were already running rampant.

Leona and Lou have been dating for six years, since Leona was just 17 years old, and she says, "Me and Lou are good friends and I think that's the important thing, that we're friends and that we have a laugh together." He supported her when she auditioned for X Factor, which is what propelled her to the super-stardom she now enjoys.

The couple currently live together in a flat in Hackney, and though her rep says the rumors absolutely aren't true, we're still wishing them happiness and good wishes.

Before we even get started, we want to urge you to take this piece of "news" with a grain of salt -- it sounds a lot like a publicity stunt. But, our job is to fill you in on the buzz, so here we go.

Rumors are flying about the possibility of Lindsay Lohan being engaged to her openly gay gal pal, DJ Samantha Ronson. In Cannes last week, the pair were said to have shared a passionate kiss at a party, although the infamous picture shows little more than a hug. And, there's the fact that Lindsay's mom and sister recently made a public statement that Lindsay was not a lesbian, although the family knows and likes Samantha.

However, sources are saying that LiLo is referring to herself as Lindsay Ronson, and she was spotted sporting this suspicious diamond ring on her engagement finger at Dolce & Gabbana party in Cannes:

Reports are circulating that proud new parents Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry are engaged. As a matter of fact, the rumors actually state that he proposed to her with his grandmother's engagement ring to show her how much she means to him and his family.

There's only one problem with the story -- she may be wearing a sparkler, but she's vowed never to marry again. Actually, she has said that she feels more married to Gabriel than she has felt to either of her two ex-husbands and doesn't see any reason to make the relationship official.

We think it's more likely that he gave her the ring as a symbol of commitment, but not necessarily as an engagement ring. They wouldn't be the only celebrity couple to abstain from becoming legally wed. Perhaps they, like Brad and Angelina, consider their child the most important bond they can share.

Rumor has it that Kate Hudson and her Butterscotch Stallion are getting ready to settle down. Supposedly, Owen Wilson picked out the biggest ring he could find for his lady, who has been instrumental in helping him get back into a good place after some dark days this past year.

Both stars' reps claim the rumors are untrue, and that Kate is only sporting the giant rock because she's shooting a new film, Bridal Wars. However, as StyleDash points out, this would be a great opportunity for the towheaded twosome to have a secret engagement with a perfect excuse ...

Either way, we really think they're cute together, and they look happy together, so even if they're not engaged (and we kinda suspect they aren't -- one step at a time, folks), we hope they are enjoying a wonderful courtship.

According to Hollyscoop, Pete and Ashlee have already sent out their invitations and plan to be wed on May 16. What? We haven't gotten ours yet!

Maybe it's because they want to get married before Ashlee starts to look pregnant (because, according to the same source that informed Hollyscoop about the invites, Ashlee absolutely is expecting), or because she wants to beat her sister down the aisle. Or, perhaps they're hoping to continue with some publicity as Ashlee's newest album fails to make the level of sales her previous albums did.

Of course, it could just be that they're so much in love that they can't wait another month to be husband and wife. But, that's a lot less interesting.

Paris is no longer wearing boyfriend (or fiance) Benji Madden's "BM" diamond ring on her all-important finger (thank goodness, because we really had a hard time stifling our giggles every time we saw it). But, that doesn't mean her finger is bare.

P-Hilt has been spotted sporting something new, big, and sparkly on her second finger in. Adding a bit of fuel to this fire is the fact that Paris' older sis, Nicky, was seen picking up a book on weddings a week or so ago.



Plus, Benji has already told the media that he wouldn't "bet against" an engagement between himself and the overexposed heiress before the year is out. What do you think? Engagement ring or just another bauble for Miss Hilton?

We aren't the least bit ashamed to admit that we ABSOLUTELY didn't see this one coming -- Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon eloped and are married! Reportedly, a source close to the couple confirmed the marriage to Latina.com.

Mariah and Nick got hitched yesterday, in an "impulsive" small island wedding, attended by just a few of their close friends, including rapper and Mariah BFF, DaBrat.

We reported just a couple of days ago that the couple might be engaged, but we weren't holding our breath since Nick's five month engagement to Victoria's Secret model Selina Ebanks went belly-up not too long ago. In fact, there are rumors that Mariah's engagement ring was actually the same one Nick used to propose to Selina, in which case we're giving this relationship about a minute before they opt for an equally impulsive divorce. If that's not the case, we'll give it an hour. Though, maybe they're happy and all of this isn't quite as crazy as we think it is ...

We had no doubt that any engagement ring Mariah Carey accepted these days would be nothing short of ridiculously huge, and if the rumors are true, we were right on.

MTV.com reports that Mimi and current squeeze, Nick Cannon, are engaged, and she's sporting a giant rock. The couple has been spotted holding hands twice (Wait, are we in fifth grade? Holding hands?), and then Carey was seen with the enormous rock on Saturday at a New York afterparty for her new film, Tennessee.

While we're not biting just yet, we are encouraged by Cannon's response to questions about the purported engagement. He positively danced around the answer, saying little more than how great he thinks she is and that, "Rumors happen. They just do." Especially when you give answers like that ..

It's not unusual to start dreaming about one's wedding when in a happy, loving relationship -- we've all practiced our signatures with our true love's last name, and thought about what our bridesmaids would wear. Paris Hilton, however, is reportedly thinking about some other wedding plans -- namely, how to get the most money for her wedding pictures.

She and rocker boyfriend, Benji Madden, aren't engaged (though they are going strong, and P-Hilt's family seems to really like him), but she's already got plans in the works for a double wedding with her sometimes-BFF Nicole Richie and Benji's bro, Joel Madden. Apparently, she thinks photos from a double wedding will bring in millions.

Kate Moss, who has said on numerous occasions that she's marrying her boyfriend, Jamie Hince and has reportedly set the date for late summer, has now bought herself an engagement ring.

And, because it's Kate Moss, of course it's not your standard bauble -- it's a diamond and platinum band based on the Egyptian symbol for long life, and it set her back a whopping 90,000 British pounds (just under $180,000 U.S.).

According to OK! Magazine, Jamie Lynn Spears has no plans to look for a baby-belly-hiding wedding gown and is not intending to have a shotgun wedding with the father of her unborn child, Casey Aldridge.

Reportedly, Jamie Lynn intends to marry at Britney's Kentwood, Louisiana estate (you know, the estate Britney named Serenity -- does anyone else find that ironic and kind of sad?), and will have a small ceremony after the birth of her little one.

When I saw the Brangelina wedding rumors this weekend, I have to say that I didn't' fall for it. I just couldn't believe they would do that after making such point about not wanting to get married until every other person in the country who wants to be legally wed can do so.

However, in reading over some of the residual gossip, there was one piece of evidence that, had I heard it when I first heard the rumor, might have swayed me. Apparently, In Touch Magazine gave the reason for the New Orleans nuptials as Maddox, who "didn't understand why they weren't married, and started to constantly question it."



The couple has stated before that they don't need to be wed because they are legally bound to their children. Therefore, if it came down to an issue with their kids, I could almost believe they'd tie the knot. However, as much as we'd love to cover that wedding here at AisleDash, I totally respect their reasoning for not doing so and hope they stick to their guns.
